Senator Conroy launches, a revolutionary new FREE online learning system for kids, parents and teachers has just been launched by Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy at PLC Armidale. PLC is the first mainland school to be connected to the NBN.

Senator Conroy was most enthusiastic, “ZooWhiz is absolutely fantastic! It’s about fun and learning online; it’s about a journey of discovery, that flows between school and home! ZooWhiz is a great programme that challenges the traditional divide between school-work and home-work. It represents a new face of learning made possible with high speed Internet!”

Tony Windsor, Federal Member for New England congratulated the staff of ZooWhiz for creating such an innovative and vital programme from their Armidale base in regional Australia saying, “I’d like to congratulate for embracing the technology of tomorrow, today. is an example of the new types of business made possible in country Australia by the higher speeds and reliability of high speed broadband.”

Richard Torbay, Member for the Northern Tablelands commented, “With their innovative approach Graham and Barbara East have made a significant contribution to the development of education software since 1987.
